Dunoon Park/Wembley Athletic Club
OPENING OF WEMBLEY A. C. GROUND SATURDAY
Members of the Wembley Athletic Club, will welcome their friends on their own
ground at the top of Dunoon Road off the Windward Road, which will be opened
on Saturday afternoon this week, at 4.30 o'clock, when they meet the Melbourne
football team in a match which will go a far way to decide the fate of the Senior
League champions for this season.
The grounds are being rapidly put into first class condition, and from this stage,
the balance of the Wembley's matches, which were scheduled to be played at
Kensington Park will be played on their own ground.
